Please note that the fireworks festival will only have paid seating areas, and there will be 【no free viewing areas or free parking】 available. It is mandatory to purchase a viewing ticket to attend. For visitors coming from outside the prefecture, we highly recommend arranging your transportation and accommodation well in advance.

Visitors can enjoy the fireworks and Sanriku area from day to night. In addition to traditional performing arts, local cuisine, and specialty products are beautiful fireworks displays that light up the sky. The event will surely bring a smile to spectators.
In addition to the staged events and large-scale fireworks displays, there will be a competition with 20 fireworks manufacturers from across Japan. Spectators will be the judge and cast their vote for which pyrotechnician will take the prize.
